The clothes a person wears to the beach can be friendly to the ocean and the environment. Imagine hats made from the leaves that fall to the ground from moriche palm trees, without cutting down a single plant; swimsuits created from fishing nets; or T-shirts, shorts, skirts, and even face masks made from plastic taken from the ocean. This is the market of Bohío Playa, a venture born by two brothers in Envigado, Antioquia, and listed this year by Forbes magazine as one of the most promising businesses of 2021 in Colombia, opening a market around sustainable fashion.
