Bohío Playa, the sustainable fashion brand to wear at sea. (Diners Magazine)
I used to make tropical music, so I felt the need to dress like an artist. I started creating my own outfits, heavily inspired by Joe Arroyo, Diomedes Diaz, and Grupo Niche. People liked them, and that's where the idea for the business was born in 2015.
We first became known in the artistic world, and then in the commercial sphere. Artists like Juanes, Vicente García, and Juan Pablo Vega began wearing our clothes.
In 2018, I partnered with my brother Juan Camilo, and we decided to transform Bohío into a full-fledged beachwear brand focused on social and environmental sustainability. In 2019, we began creating garments made from recycled plastic.
